“The size is perfect for small area yet holds quite a lot. I’m actually quite impressed with the quality for what it costs. To be honest, it took me about 2 hours to put it together. It’s heavier and sturdier than i expected. I’m a small person in 60’s. Have all the parts organized by the numbers so it’s easy to put it to together. I recommend using a drill to tighten up some of the screws which will save you some time. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. Need to really look at the pictures in the instructions carefully before you start putting things together so you don’t make mistakes. It’s pretty durable except for the bottle of the drawers. It’s on more thin side but seems to hold all my tools in the drawers well. That’s the only negative thing I can think of.It looks like quality furniture both esthetically and material wise, and best of all, I can put my printer on top without worrying about falling over because it comes with secure metal string attachments to the wall on both sides. “OK, but assembly took longer than expected! Debated between the white and expresso. SO wanted the espresso. It is a very dark brown, alsmost black. Cabinet was shipped directly from Yaheetech in Savannah, GA by FedEX; heavy, well packed, no broken or scratched pieces, no missing parts.This is made of an engineered wood, probably MDF, with a solid color finish. I used hand screw drivers only to assemble it; DO NOT use a power tool, i.e., cordless drill. I only had 1 drawer screw that would not tighten. I used the old trick of a piece of a wooden toothpick and a bit of Elmer’s wood glue in the screw hole to get it to tighten.The assembly manual states 1 hour to assemble, NOPE, give yourself 2 hours. Each piece is numbered or lettered. The stickers leave an adhesive residue after removal. I used isopropyl alcohol to remove the residue. “Love the drawers. I had difficulty putting this together and got the bottom board on backwards. Make sure the larger groove on bottom board is at the back. However, the way the screw locks are set up I was able to unlock screws and pull side boards off without any damage. The drawers were easy to put together. The drawers and base are sturdy, but the backing is flimsy and just for show. This will scratch easily, but this type of furniture is easily painted. Company gives you extra screws but there are no extra boards. They do offer professional installation of boards for an extra fee. If I can muddle through directions so can you. I’m quite easily befuddled by this stuff but got it together within an hour with my kindergarten age grandsons assistance (I’m not kidding). Sturdy legs at the bottom. My son needs to tighten the screws better, but I did the best I could with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Don’t use a power screw gun, it’s too easy to overtighten and crack this type of wood. Been there, done that. Just remember to make sure the larger slot in bottom wood is truly at the back and you should be fine. I like it.
