“Great grill but allow 3 hrs for set up. We were happy to have the grill arrive a day earlier than expected. So glad we waited til the weekend to set it up and not after a day of work as it took 3 hours to complete the set up. For the most part the instructions were good minus the burner connection. The manual showed it connected upon delivery but ours was not. A bit disappointed that one piece broke off as we were connecting the dial panel and one shelf had a couple small dents. Haven’t tried cooking on it yet as we just sat down to write this review. Our son-in-law ordered this from Lowes and they include home set up in their purchase price–same $ as what we paid on Amazon.” – BJS (Source: Amazon)
“Great grill! It’s a Weber..need I say more? I had an older model for 17 years, I used it constantly, it was definitely time for an upgrade.I chose to assemble It myself it took some time, but the instructions were clear. All the parts were packed very well, there was a small dent in one of the legs but it didn’t cause any problems with the assembly. The grill heats up very fast, it has three burners, each comes with a knob. It ignites with the press of a button. I like the fact that theres a “meter”attached to the side that holds the propane tank, it has red notches showing how much fuel is left in the tank. I use it several times a week I’m very satisfied with this grill.” – P. A. CURCIO (Source: Amazon)
“Happy dad. I was most worried after reading the reviews about shipping. Thankfully Amazon shipped it in a box truck with two employees to carry it. They were extra careful and respectful. There wasn’t a single part damaged.Assembly took approximately 2 hours by myself using the bilt app. Honestly probably would have been one hour if I had someone help expedite and read instructions when I was building. The quality of parts seems very good.First time cooking on it went off without any problems. Got up to 600°F quickly.Would certainly recommend to a family of 4 or less. Probably not big enough to entertain many guests.” – Kevin Krause (Source: Amazon)
“Nice grill, lower shelf could be better designed. Assembly not bad, used online BILT instructions for clarity. We like the grill, but the metal shelving below the grill tends to rattle easily. Would have preferred a more solid shelf design. Purchased a Weber for 10 year warranty; tired of replacing cheaper grills every couple of years.” – legoqueen (Source: Amazon)
“Quality and Versatility. I’ve been very pleased with this grill. The materials feel quality and it performs well with easy ignition, good heat distribution and holds temperature well. Designed ready for iGrill3 is also great (I purchased it separately and have been impressed with it as well). I feel that in this price point, it’s a great standard grill that offers quality and versatility. Also very aesthetically pleasing. The open cart design and exposed tank setup give a sense of space that I enjoy.” – acreative (Source: Amazon)
“It’s a Weber. Great even heat distribution. Weber is a quality grill. Item arrived in time frame promised. Assembly was definitely a bit of work and did require 2 people at the end. Took almost 3 to 4 hours to put everything together as there was nothing pre-assembled.” – sapient (Source: Amazon)
“Heat up really Quick!! My Grill came without any damage, It was a little diffucult to put together but other than that it heat up really quick , its firm and the heat distribution is top notch . I would recommend this grill to any one in the market looking for one .” – Ismael Guzman (Source: Amazon)
“Very happy with this grill! This is by far the best grill (under $500) on the market. Very happy with this grill, and I actually enjoyed putting it together, too. Not too hard to assemble, and I don’t consider myself the most handy person either. Product arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend this grill!” – TCFENHOLT (Source: Amazon)
“Fantastic. Warms up fast and cooks even. Can’t believe I waited this long to get a Weber…” – GHOP (Source: Amazon)
“Love it. We bought the first iteration of this grill (Spirit E-310) years ago, never put a grill cover on it and yet it kept going and going. This update, the Spirit II E-310 is vastly improved. It can crank out the high heat- I think I had our’s was well over 600 degrees according to the built in lid thermometerThe GS4 burners are terrific. On the old Spirit grills, the burners ran the length of the grill body which made it hard to gill food in sections. Like most grills, there are 3 burners, in line, side to side, so much easier to control temps and temperature zones. Love the open cart design, more hooks and the sensible fuel gauge,Regarding the the complaint I read here about the grill not achieving low temps. One burner on low = 200 degrees on a 85 degree afternoon. I do low and slow typically around 225 degrees. How much lower do you need to go?Regarding moving, even with the propane attached, it’s easy to roll around by grabbing it by the folding side table. The instructions actually instruct the user to move it by grabbing the folding side table which seems sturdy enough to support this operationI bought the grill at my hardware store assembled it myself. The instructions were clear and everything fit together perfectly. Compared to assembling products made overseas, putting this grill together was a dream. Plus, doing it yourself ensures that it’s done right!” – jgconker (Source: Amazon)
“One year anniversary. Love this grill! 8 years ago I spent $700 on a gently used $1200 Lowe’s brand grill. All the bells and whistles but was a horrible grill from the get go. Last year, after years of watching me struggle with my gigantic useless grill, my wife picked up this Weber for me. After a year of heavy cooking, I still love it. I meal prep every weekend for the week…it gets regular use. Rotisserie chicken, steak, wings, burgers, salmon…the works. It has great to excellent heat distribution. Flare ups are minimal to none- occasionally scrape out the char – see pic. Quality dials that show no sign of wear. The ignition button works well every time. Clean up is a breeze. I scrape out the inside about every three months (when I start to notice flare ups). Oven cleaner helps keep the outside looking like new.I will someday upgrade to the Weber Genesis model, but with one kid in college and another starting high school, this Spirit 2 will continue to grill up great meals. If you are on the fence, maybe contemplating a fancier looking grill for the same price, this grill will out perform all the others in the $450 price range. Though I downgraded in cooking square inch (700 to 440)…it hands down beats my former luxurious looking stainless steel Lowe’s monstrosity that was a flare up nightmare despite continuous cleaning and care.” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)
