“Impressive Adjustable Bed. First, I believe this is a well made bed system. I took several pictures to show the system as I set it up. It was really very easy to setup after I got it into our bedroom. Recommendations, ensure you have 2 9-volt batteries for the DC backup power in case you have a power outage, you can still operate the bed. The USB ports, one USB-A and one USB-C are accessible from underneath both sides of the head of the base unit. Synchronizing the remote is straight forward and easy. You will need two people to move the bed frame and mattresses. My 15 year old granddaughter helped me move ours from the garage to our Master bedroom on the second floor. I recommend removing the hardware to reduce weight. I chose the Split King setup with 12” legs. The base units are 2 Twin XL bases and mattresses. Using this setup allowed us to retain our solid oak bed frame. At present the mattress seems comfortable. I will update this post after a week or so of use. “Great bed, Very comfortable. We have been sleeping on this for about 7 weeks now. We really have enjoyed this bed. We have had some adjustment to the split King setup and I am not totally sold on the crease in the center. That is not a problem with the manufacturing or the bed itself but with the style in general. We have put it through its paces and really like all of the settings. The remotes came already paired with their individual side of the bed but there is a sync button inline with the power cable in the event that it needed it. The three different vibration levels are sufficient for just a light amount up to a real good rumble and is nice after a long day sometimes. The under the bed lighting is very nice and puts out plenty of light to see where you are going without disturbing the other person. My local delivery company wasn’t very flexible with delivery and my wife had a last minute trip out of town so I had asked about delivery the following week but they would only allow 72 hours on their dock before automatically returning the bed. I opted to take a day off of work to receive the shipment. The driver was supposed to drop at the curb but since the driveway is paved and flat he just rolled it straight into the garage for us. The assembly consists of adding the legs to the bottom of the bed, adding the mattress retention stop at the foot, and plugging it in. Be prepared by having 9v batteries on hand (2 for each side), I wasn’t sure what they were for since the bed is plugged in but guessing it may be power to lower the bed if their was a power outage so it isn’t stuck in some position other than level. The bed came on a pallet with the two mattresses on top all strapped together. The unboxing was extremely easy by opening as a clam shell and simply removing the bed and folding it out. There were two boxes inside that had the parts and the remote controls, with the owners manual. This fit directly into our existing bed frame with the cross supports removed. I will say that we have a pretty high foot board that is flush with the mattresses so making the top sheet up with the retention elements and foot board in the way is a bit difficult. Getting the fitted sheets over the center top corner of each mattress is also a bit difficult but not a problem unless you have mobility issues.On night 2 the cross member that lifts the upper half of the bed separated due to a bad weld. Two pops and it was done. I believe that the first weld failed passing the all of the load to the other side causing that side to fail. I got out of bed and wrote to them immediately late that evening. I was contacted first thing in the morning. They were very apologetic but I understood that sometimes there are bad welds since I have worked in manufacturing before for many years. They had me send pictures and the serial number and processed a replacement shipment for that half immediately. They also had the white glove delivery and installation at no cost to me. They came in and packed up the broken unit and put the new one in and tested it and made sure I was satisfied before leaving. I couldn’t have asked for a better response from the seller or the white glove service people.As you can see by my star rating we very much like the bed and would recommend this. “Nice bed, easy assembly. I purchased this bed for my aging mom who will be moving in with me.Delivery was great. SleepGeekz Called me to confirm shipment. I decided against white glove delivery due to the cost, but bought a dolly so I could get the bed to the bedroom where it was needed. The delivery person was awesome. He was only required to leave the pallet at my door, but he put the bed inside for me, and took the pallet away, as I had no use for it.I’d recommend 2 people do the assembly, but I was able to assemble the twin xl by myself.Everything was great until I installed the headboard. That was more challenging than setting up the bed itself, but I got it done. (By the way, to install a headboard, you’ll need an adapter kit, not included.) All was well until I lowered the head of the bed. The USB boxes caught on the bolts attaching the headboard adapter, and then the head of the bed crashed down into place. Of course they also caught when raising the head as well. Customer service was friendly, but ultimately not very helpful. They implied that I installed the headboard incorrectly, which was not the case. I decided to move the USB boxes over about 1/2″ toward the outside of the bed. (The USB boxes are attached to brackets that are mounted with screws attached to wood along the edge of the bed.) That fixed the issue, and the head of the bed now raises and lowers just fine. “Sleep quality improved! Hello! I waited a couple months to submit my review. My husband and I are very pleased with our new split king adjustable bed by Sven & Son.We had a traditional mattress for over 10 years. We decided that our next purchase would be an adjustable bed. We are so happy we made that decision. We sleep so much better because we were able to elevate our head which alleviates snoring and neck pain! We did not purchase the white glove set up. I do recommend paying the extra money and having someone else set the bed up if you are alone or elderly. The frames and mattresses are delivered right to your door. They are very heavy. It takes two people to carry them into the house and set the bed up. The instructions were easy and we did not have any problems. Use caution when opening the mattresses as they are vacuum sealed. be careful not to cut into the mattress fabric while you are opening them and stand back because the plastic pops when all the air is removed. It took about 48 hours for them to rise to their fullness. The mattresses are a little stiff for the first couple weeks. We purchased a medium soft and we feel like they are perfect now! We love our bed and the quality and have no regrets. The remote control takes a little bit to get used to but works nicely too. I was a little hesitant making such a big purchase but I combed through all the reviews and decided on this product. “It’s a keeper ! I like how the bed folds up when they shipped it and that its very solid good quality. I used to have the Tempurpedic adjustable frame and these are the new improved.The adjustable frame was built in to the box spring and since it didn’t work any more I dumped it but kept the mattress from it because they will last a life time even with some heavy weekend marathon humping.
