“Perfect small room desk. This desk is perfect for my tiny little office (11×12). It is a LOT more sturdy than I expected and gives me ample room for two large monitors and a laptop screen, plus flat space for writing. It looks good from any angle and I have enough room for my legs, and chair so I don’t feel boxed in.Assembly: I’m a 60+ woman and had no trouble putting this together. It wasn’t quick, I took maybe 5 hrs total with no power tools, but I wasn’t rushing either. I suggest you pay close attention to the drawings to ensure you’re using the correct side or placing a piece in the right direction. I know some people don’t like the cam bolts, but I find them reliably strong and easy to use.Improvement: The company gives you all the little plastic pieces to hide the bolts and screws, but these never work unless you’ve got the patience of Job and use glue. I would prefer they include a little bottle of paint (think nail polish) to paint over the bolts and screws. You can repaint if you need to disassemble for any reason and you won’t find plastic pieces chewed up by the dogs when they inevitably fall off.I’d really like a pencil drawer along one or both edges. “Sturdy nice desk. The desk arrived in a timely manner. The instructions were easy to follow to assemble. It did take almost four hours. This desk was the perfect size and shape for my home office and seems sturdy and there is a lot of leg room underneath. The file drawer will only hold letter size files and I probably won’t be overloading as the bottom is a very thin piece of material. Although it was packaged well and there was no visible damage to the outer box, both of the top pieces have damage right in the front edges. Unfortunately, this was not noticeable until the whole desk was almost put together. So I’m not taking it apart to return. Hopefully, the one side does not get worse. You can see there is a pretty big dent and it’s a pressed wood material, so no good options to try to fix. Overall I feel it is a good purchase for the price and should work fine for my needs.** update… contacted the manufacturer about the damage to the top pieces. They sent replacement pieces! “A Great Looking and Fuctional Desk. I bought this desk for my wife and she loves it. The directions were very straight forward and easy to interpret. No issues at all with assembly. No surprises as everything fit perfect and was clearly detailed. The drawers work smooth. As a added step for strength, I did use clear gorilla glue in the grooves that hold the drawer bottoms. In the past I have had some issues with drawer bottoms sagging, with a similar type of assembled drawers.
