“Deep Planter. This galvanized planter is plenty big to plant anything from flowers to shrubs to even a fruit tree. It’s a breeze to assemble. Im not sure what I’m going to plant in it as it’s quite deep so I need a lot of dirt and mulch to fill it up. I really like the height of this planter as In my opinion the ones that are shorter just don’t look good. The galvanized panels are thicker then some of the other’s that I have. “Fabulous raised bed! It took me about an hour to put this together. Assemble isn’t too difficult, but it if you’re shorter than 5’6″ I would recommend doing this with an assistant. It’s quite a reach to tighten the lower bolts for us shorter people, you have to reach over the 2 ft. panels to hold the nut in place while you tighten the screw.I haven’t decided where to place this bed, but I’m excited to add this to my gardening space. I love that the bottom is open because drainage won’t be an issue. I know that the galvanized beds with closed bottoms have drainage issues even with drainage holes drilled. Several friends of mine have had plants die from root rot because the water wouldn’t drain properly.The protective rubber gasket doesn’t stay on but since the edge of the raised bed isn’t sharp, this protective piece isn’t needed.Happy gardening!” – Andy (Source: Amazon)
