“Nice Catio. So for the money, this is worth it. It was delivered in 3 packages. This catio is medium difficulty to put together, mainly because the instructions aren’t very good. You’ll def need 2 people to put together. The wire is already attached, so basically it’s just putting the pieces together. The cat boxes on either end make it kind of unstable because they’re heavy, but once you brace it, it’s okay. The shelves on top are pretty close to the roof so if you have a big cat, they have to kind of crouch. The bridge thing my cats hate, because it moves when they step on it. You’re supposed to anchor it to the ground, but we haven’t yet, and it’s pretty stable with the braces. Plus hubs doesn’t want to drill holes into the concrete. All in all I’m glad I got it, the cats seem to enjoy it.” – pamela bedekovich (Source: Amazon)

“It’s worth it. I have wanted one of these for a very long time and finally got one!! It’s kind of intimidating when unpacking it but instructions were easy to follow and very solid once all completed. My hubby and I both put it together and combined took around 4 1/2 hours. We have to buy a tunnel to go from house to catio yet but it will be perfect. Definitely recommended” – Steve Tooley (Source: Amazon)

“Great ! Had to build a deck for it or it won’t hold . it’s easy to put together . Two people takes about 3-4 hours .Had to drill most of the holes ourselves and modify it a bit but would buy again !” – Emilie W (Source: Amazon)

“Looks good. The catico looks good once assembled. It takes 2 people to assemble. Directions are clear and somewhat easy to understand and follow. Now what I didn’t like, the pieces were not clearly marked. The markings are in black ink and the pieces are stained dark this makes reading and finding the correct pieces hard. Recommend the manufacturer use stickers vice the black ink directly on the parts. I did not want to attach it to the house so made a back wall.” – tommyg (Source: Amazon)

“Good product for the price. We have 10 indoor cats and we purchased this enclosure to allow them the freedom to enjoy some fresh air, morning sun, and outdoor stimulation, without the dangers from predators and other outdoor hazards. Two of our cats have decided to spend most of their day in the enclosure, while the rest of them are in and out throughout the day. All but one decided to explore their new enclosure on day one, only one cat needed a week or two to get comfortable with it.As for the product itself, the wood is a cheaper, lightweight wood and the roof is made of a clear corrugated plastic. The hardware cloth is not coated like the material we would typically use for outdoor enclosures, and is more susceptible to rust. For these reasons, we decided to set up the enclosure on our covered porch because we did not think it would hold up very long out in the elements. We were also hesitant to screw into our brick to attach the enclosure as indicated in the instructions, so we made a few modifications. We used some scrap wood to make one long wooden piece across the top back of the enclosure. This provided more structure and strength between the two boxes which tended to sag inward. We used two more long wooden strips that extended vertically from the concrete floor to the top of our porch on either side of the enclosure. This allowed us to screw into the wood trim on our porch rather than to brick. We screwed the sides of the enclosure into these strips to secure the enclosure to the side of the house. We used wooden shims at the bottom to hold the strips in place, and more shims under the front panels to keep them from sliding around. Rather than nail the roof on, we attached it with Velcro so that it would be easier to remove if we needed to clean or replace it. Again not wanting to screw into the brick, we made the two shelves that were supposed to screw into an exterior wall into a bench that sits on the ground and added a cat bed. We did not use the extra wooded bridge.Overall, we felt like this was a good purchase for what we wanted. The cats are happy with it, so we are happy.” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)

“Happy. Overall this was a great buy. It could be sturdier but we fixed it up. We had to give it a lift to reach our window. Some holes were not pre drilled, we made it work.” – Hannah (Source: Amazon)
