“Easy assembly! Perfect size. Living in Florida, our plants get pummeled during hurricane season.Assembly was easy. 4 stars out of 5 only because there should more on written instructions than simply pictures.I used the clips to secure the shelves, but am also going to use zip ties because of severe weather here at times. The price was reasonable, good construction and love the side screen “windows”.Worth the money.” – steve (Source: Amazon)
“This is a review of the build only…so far…. I just got this a couple days ago so the review thus far is for the build only. I have not had it long enough to speak to its ability to withstand weather etc.Let us address the many complaints about the construction instructions first. If you cannot translate pictures with numbers into instructions then you will struggle. I found the pictures to be quite logical and clear, but from what I have read, many do not. It is not written out step by step so you will have to use your brain. You’ll be fine.I chose a spot on my deck so I have the advantage of tethering the frame to the boards rather than to trust stakes in the ground. Incidentally, the stakes that come in the box would not keep a duck sneeze from blowing the greenhouse away so be sure to get better ones, and to use them properly!!! I used the tie downs from the box to securely tie all post points to the deck. Because I want to use this in Winter and early Spring, I put a layer of cardboard down with cheap outdoor carpet over that to keep the cold from coming through the deck boards.I read a lot of complaints in the reviews about tearing the cover and how it takes more than one person. At 5’2”, and shrinking, I did it just fine myself with no issues. If you have the poles fitted to the connectors all the way then the cover fits just fine. If you are going to wrestle the cover and try a smack down over the frame, you will tear it and that is on you, ya beast.I would prefer clips to ties for the windows and doors but I can add those later. The windows only have two velcro pieces at each bottom corner so I’ll have to fashion something for Winter as that will not keep the cold out. I cannot fathom why they did not use velcro around 3 sides of the window but no one asked me so…speaking of things I cannot fathom, there are 24 shelf clips that come in the box. There are 12 shelves so that leaves 2 clips per shelf (I can do math). Using one per corner is actually quite effective at keeping the shelf secure without needing zip ties. That said I cannot find a way to order more clips so I sent a message to customer service to see about getting more. We shall see. A lot of people zip tie them but I want to be able to open areas up and move things around without clipping and wasting zip ties. Not to mention we should not have to buy something to fix an obvious fail point. Again, no one asked me. *eyerollAll in all I am happy with this so far! The build was fast and easy for one short person and it looks nice. I have zero experience with how this will hold up but my plan is to update the review as time goes by. We get some strong winds here and being up on a second story deck will certainly test it. I can see places I need to have winterized before the first frost, but I have ideas for how to do that. For the money this seems like a nice starter greenhouse. I plan to grow greens in the Winter, keep seedlings in the late Winter / early Spring, and hot house tomatoes and peppers in the Summer. I am excited to get growing!” – Vixen (Source: Amazon)
“Great for the price point. Easy to put together if you lay the pieces out just like the diagram. Everything is labeled on the bags except for the connector pieces, which are individually labeled and can be a bit hard to see. It helps to have a buddy to help you sort them. All of the pieces fit well and i recommend a rubber mallet to make sure all the pieces are securely in. It only took about an hour by myself to build the frame, but I also needed help getting the cover on. In the interest of not damaging the cover, get a buddy to help you.I took another gentleman’s advice in his review on here and added some 2x4s to the bottom to help with weight and stability. I suggest investing in zip ties and adding a few to each of the shelves, which are flimsy but you can reinforce them. I recommend getting some extra tent spikes if you’re building on soft ground because the ones that come with it are rather inadequate if there’s any real strong wind.I just built this today so I cannot speak to general longevity of the item, but so far it looks really good, it’s what i expected. Can’t wait to fill it.” – Jess (Source: Amazon)
“Simple, Easy to set up, Great Price. It’s great! Easy to assemble and under one hour. The instructions are clear and simple to read. Good price for the whole set up. It’s sturdy, but I wouldn’t put too much weight on the shelves.” – pat storms (Source: Amazon)
“Simple Small Greenhouse. No tools were required. At first the amount of pieces in the box seemed scary, But turned out to be Very easy to assemble, One person can do it alone. The directions were step by step and easy to follow and understand. Each of the pieces were labeled clearly. The hardest part was putting the final cover on And that was only because we were in a tighter space with a small tree and house But once in position it was simple to tie down. The shelves clipped in nicely. The house was put up in under an hours time. The house does not come with a floor but that was okay we had an old camping pad we used as a runner that fit perfectly.” – James Souza (Source: Amazon)
“Perfect for the 1 month use that is needed for us. This was purchased to replace a very small 3 shelf greenhouse which wasn’t large enough to house plantings grown or purchased before the planting season. As its intended use is for approximately one month, it is perfect. Seems to be sturdy and has withstood some wind. Did not anchor on the lawn, but instead have used water filled 5 gallon buckets to tie down.” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)
“Perfect for beginners. I LOVE this greenhouse. It’s very easy to assemble, the cover is thick and seems like it’s decent material, and the size is good for starting as well! I will say though, the shelving pieces are very flimsy and cheap, you’ll need to put wooden pieces or something more study on them so your heavier / bigger pots don’t hang down on the shelves. You also wanna put bricks around the outside ground flap of the greenhouse because the stakes are small and kinda useless. But tbh, even with the negatives, I’d still buy it again. It’s my perfect peaceful space” – Christian (Source: Amazon)
“So far, we love it. We set it up in November. My husband built a 2×4 frame and attached the base to the frame, then we zip tied the shelves to the frame. We live in N Georgia and we’ve had some very strong wind storms, and it’s stayed steady” – Karin (Source: Amazon)
“Great Value. Review from my wife Sandra who purchased this greenhouse: “I am very excited to finally have ordered myself a greenhouse. I researched high and low for a great deal on a quality greenhouse at a decent value and this one fit the bill nicely. It was easy to assemble (hour and a half by myself), sturdy, a walk-in and spacious. The windows on each side are positioned perfectly for a great Crossbreeze when needed for the interior. The pictures are from the day it was set up (today – a week after delivery – due to the crazy rainfall we have had over the last week). Only time will truly prove it’s true effectiveness. However, from what I see so far, I do not believe I will have any issues with my new greenhouse. I am so looking forward to utilizing my new greenhouse this season and in seasons to come as not only is it a greenhouse it also seconds as a cold frame which allows me more bang for the buck. The only downfall/ negative thing I can possibly offer is that delivery was two weeks late. However, considering the timing of my order and beIng right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as being near the end of the spring season; all in all is forgivable. Especially considering how grateful I am to finally have it in my possession and to have it set up. I may even purchase another one next year.”” – Frank Gironda (Source: Amazon)
“Think it is going to be great! Everything was as stated in the ad. Set-up was pretty simple and quick – there are a lot of pieces so just be organized). Only issue is that some of my ties were sewn into the zipper side of the door (pic 3) so I had to get out my scissors out and make a few snip snips.” – Kristie Conroy (Source: Amazon)
“Pleasantly surprised. I bought this green house in the fall with the intent to use it for spring. I have to say I’m very pleased with this purchase. I have my own anchors to secure it. I live in North Eastern US and it’s definitely withstood some strong winds. Since it’s not clear plastic while it does get hot the two little ventilation windows help keep it toasty and not burning. I have a thermometer in mine just to make sure it doesn’t get too hot. The material allow full sun in without roasting your seedlings (IMO).” – Jacky (Source: Amazon)
“Excellent Product, Easy To Assemble, Enjoyable. This is an excellent and we’ll designed product offered at a very fair and reasonable price. I’ll admit that I am very critical when it comes to offering reviews on any consumer goods. I had read some good reviews on this product, but was honestly quite skeptical. Let me tell you, the design and quality of this product for the list price simply cannot be beat. I used this to save my cilantro, parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme from the late fall freeze that blows into South of Boston in October/November. So far, so good. I have even added a very small outdoor heater to see how long I can keep my herbs going. You really can’t miss for the money with this product, and I’m happy I bought it. I even went out and bought some bromeliads to brighten it up inside. Can’t wait to use it to start my crops early next year.” – Brooksey (Source: Amazon)
“Easy setup. It took me about 45 minutes from start to finish and it was an easy setup for one person. I’ll need to put something flat on the shelves because the small pots I have are pretty wobbly. Overall I’m loving this greenhouse especially for the price.” – SA (Source: Amazon)
“Nice starter Greenhouse. I start all my garden plants indoors and needed more space for my plants. This has turned out to be the perfect solution. The greenhouse is easy to assemble and does not require tools. The outer cover is sturdy and fits well. The side windows are nice for ventilation and temperature control. The shelving is a plus and so far holds about 40 small plants with trays. The zippers on the door are well made. It heats up well with just a little sunlight. I added a small heater and thermostat for cold nights (Ohio). It definitely will need to be well secured. Great value for the price.” – Busher is Now! (Source: Amazon)
“Great buy. It’s really pretty. I’m 5’8”, so I have to duck to go through the doorway, but I can stand up completely when I’m inside it. The shelves don’t hold on well, so I used zip ties on the back of each, just in case I have larger plants and I want to lift the shelves up to give them more room. Eventually I’m going to modify the door with a section of wide mesh so it can vent and let in pollinators. But that’s just my MacGuyver instinct. For what I purchased, it’s everything I expected, and at a great deal.” – Tressa (Source: Amazon)
“Happy little greenhouse. I love the size and simplicity of assembly. Only thing is I highly suggest investing in tent stakes at the time of purchase for extra stability.” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)
“Easy to assemble, good quality. Replaced 2 year old smaller greenhouse. Easy to assemble & good quality. Added 1/4 in shelf to provide more support for heavier plants. Use remote temp gauge & small heater when freezing temp is forecasted.” – Jeri Wynn (Source: Amazon)
“great little greenhouse. I got mine up today, a bit late but better than never. It will hold 12 trays of seedlings, which is very nice for a home garden. I have 3″ peat pots in my tray, 18 each x 12 trays, should be all I need to get started. It went together very well, was easy to get the pools and connectors in place. Instructions were clear and concise. Seems sturdy and good quality.” – Jillene VanNostrand (Source: Amazon)
“Make sure all the parts are there. Was excited to get. My son was also excited. We are missing 2 of the #2 poles. So far everything is greatWe hope the company sends out the missing pieces. If this works out we will buy another one to add. It’s hold a lot of starter plants.” – Yolanda L. Taijito (Source: Amazon)
“What a nice green house loved it was very easy to assemble and it’s made of good material. Loved this green house very sturdy and recommend to buy!” – Sandra Caraballo (Source: Amazon)
“Great for the price. Not crazy sturdy but sturdy enough I will be reinforcing it just to make sure but for the price I love it” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)
“High quality and great value. Very nice for the cost. Sturdy, spacious, and easy to assemble. It was much better quality than I was expecting.” – nate ludwig (Source: Amazon)
“Sturdy frame. Good beginner set. Got this for Christmas as a starter greenhouse. The steel frame is sturdy enough, but if you live in a high wind area, you NEED to tie this down. Mine blew across the yard with nothing in it weighing it down after a big wind storm. The shelves felt a little flimsy, so I replaced them with wooden slat shelves I made myself. This almost doubled the shelf space since the original only comes with 8 wire shelves. Now I have 15 shelves and the extra weight helps keep it down, but it doesn’t weigh so much that I feel like the steel frame is stressesd at all. I’m excited to start planting!” – John Como (Source: Amazon)
