“Wow….. just …. WOW!!!! I LOVE THIS NEW SET OF POTS AND PANS!!! Where do I begin? YES – they are compatible with EVERY TYPE OF COOKTOP imaginable (INCLUDING induction cooktops!) YES – they are OVEN SAFE!!! Go from cooktop to finishing in the oven whenever your heart desires. YES – the lids are interchangeable… so every pot and pan has a matching lid to utilize as necessary. The negatives? There isn’t much… save, the obvious: Treat this cookware with care and it will last a decent lifetime. Though billed as “dishwasher safe”, if you live in a hard-water area… DO NOT use the dishwasher. Take the extra time to wash by hand. Your product will thank you for the extra care. If you are concerned with scratching, the manufacturer recommends keeping paper towels in between pieces – especially if you plan on stacking your pots due to space constraints. Aside from these issues, this cookware is extremely sturdy. It has a wonderful feel in the hand. Do NOT confuse this set with “cheap” throw-away cookware. Aside from the fact that most do not consider “Nuwave” a well-known brand name… the manufacturer should be commended for creating cookware that is more than worthy of it’s much more well-known brand name competitors. Is it worth the price? YES! Will it replace your much-more well known cookware? I can only say this: It made me throw out my 20 piece stainless steel ensemble beginning with a “C” and ending in “Nart”. ;-). I’ll let you figure out the rest. In short – this cookware ROCKS. “Cooks food like a pro! It was time for new pots and pans. While the market is flooded with an array of choices, I decided to go with this set. The avocado green was indeed a bold choice for me but adds such a trendy flair to my kitchen. The gold handles and lid tops are beautiful and mesh well with the gold accents in my kitchen. The pans themselves are superior in comparison to my last set. Wow! Let’s talk about the anatomy of good cookware. This set is composed of some of the best features that can provide the ultimate cooking experience.#1 The ceramic nonstick coating is scratch and chip resistant while being free of toxic chemicals like poly and perfluoroalkyl substances ( PFAS), lead, cadmium, perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and polytetrafluoroethylene ( PTFE). This is very important. Those listed chemicals have been linked to certain types of cancer. Not only that, but (PTFE) are toxic for pet birds and can be fatal. Thankfully, these Duralon Blue pans do not contain any of the listed chemicals.#2 Works with a variety of stovetops. These pans can be used with virtually every form of stove top, including induction, ceramic, halogen, gas, electric, hot plate, and oven use. These pans can stand temperatures of up to 900°. The heat distribution is spectacular. Say goodbye to hot spots. These pans will evenly cook your food. Everything I’ve cooked in these pans has come out deliciously perfect. I can see and taste a difference in the way these pans cook my food. This is a major upgrade from my last set. The stay cool handles are also an imperative part of the cooking experience. However, I would have preferred having a larger frying pan being included in the set. I’ve been using the 5 Qt stock pot in place of a large frying pan. It still works, but it’s kind of not the same. “Beautiful Pots and pans set! I love this pot and pan set! They are lightweight but durable. The handles are sturdy. I have noticed the pot lid handles get hot to the touch. The ceramic coating is awesome! And no bad chemicals!! Everything I have made has just slide right out of the pan. They are easy to clean. The self basting lids are great. The bottom is magnetic. Love that there are many pot sizes, but I do wish there was a bigger pan size too. Also, I will say the color is more mauve than cinnamon. Definitely lighter than the pictures. I have been on the search for true nonstick pots and pans and have even tried so many different types claiming to be non-stick so I was very excited to try these out!One of my sure proof tests to judge whether a pan is truly nonstick is to cook scrambled eggs. The pan in this set cooked the eggs so evenly and perfectly, and my eggs did NOT “stick”! The other things I have cooked in this set have been just as easy! I love that the lids in this set lay flat, it is SO much easier to store the lids! Also, some of the lids are interchangeable which is convenient.The clean up was such an easy breeze! Although this set is dishwasher safe, I have only washed these pans by hand and will continue to do so. They are seriously so easy to clean!Not only is this set functional, it is a beautiful set too! “Super nice cookware set. I am really impressed with the overall quality of this cookware set, every piece feels very well made and durable, all the pieces including the lids have a nice heavyweight to them, the handles are pretty thick and easy to grip, but more importantly they do not get hot, the ceramic coating inside the pots and pans does an excellent job at keeping food from sticking, even the messy grilled cheese sandwich I made slid right out of the pan, melted cheese and all, I also like that they work on my induction cooktop with no issues at all, the heat up fairly fast and disperse the heat evenly, another feature I thought was pretty cool is that all the lids have little bumps on the bottom side that allows most of the condensation from steam to drip back into the pot, instead of all over the stove, the ceramic coating also makes these pots and pans really easy to clean, the set includes 3 different sized sauce pans/pots, 2 different sized stock pots and 2 different sized frying pans, plus 5 lids, it also came with a good sized steamer basket that fits inside the bigger stock pot, overall I am definitely happy with this cookware set, well worth the price in my opinion.” – Paul and Kim L.
