“Fit our needs for extra bed. Excellent instructions, with a little humor “what to do if missing or damaged parts” and easy to put together. We used it right away for guests and I was able to fold it up and put it away by myself (70 years old), and was told the mattress is very comfortable. It fits into our half closet in the guest room easly. We needed an extra bed and have debated for years over a bed, Murphy bed or air mattress. “Nice bed. After my little gremlins pierced 3 air mattresses with they’re claws I finally caved and bought this bed. It’s a nice bed. A bit overpriced but it’s comfortable. Closing it up is a little annoying with the latch but it can be opened and closed by 1 person. It took me 5 minutes to assemble by myself. All in all a decent comfy bed. It’s not as comfortable as my bed but it sure beats sleeping on an air mattress. This bed is definitely more comfortable then the coil mattresses we grew up sleeping on. I think my guests will like this. Might add a mattress topper but the mattress by itself is great. “Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, Quality Construction. I bought the “Millard Diplomat Folding Bed” and am so happy I did. The frame was very easy to assemble! I’m in my early 70’s and assembled it without help. I also was able to fold it up on my own, by grasping the handle on one end and raising it, then holding it up while moving to the side middle, grasping and raising the other handle and hooking them together. The strap is sturdy. Make sure you cinch the strap (almost all the way) so the two sides are connected compactly. The memory foam mattress measures slightly under 5 inches and arrives already inside a zip-up mattress cover. Once the bed is positioned where you want it , whether opened for use or folded up for storage, 2 of the 4 wheels lock in place.
