“Great purchase, great product! We bought this so our mini dachshund could have a cooling pool on the deck at the beach. It is absolutely perfect. Unfolds. Nothing to inflate. Tarp-like vinyl bottom. Bends any way you need. We put it in a corner by a step so he could get in and out. Plug on the side for easy empty. Great for rinsing him off after beach….our feet, too! I sat in it with him. Great buy!” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)

“Best dog pool for summer! We got a Rottweiler puppy from a breeder. One of the littermates was shown getting into a kiddy pool, so we bought this pool for our pup on May 9, 3 months ago. I bought the bigger one, 55” across in case I wanted to cool off in the pool as well. So far, this pool has held up very well, with no signs of wear or leakage. Surprisingly, our puppy has not tried to chew on the sides. Our dog loves it! She uses it as her primary waterbowl that she gets in frequently, “digging” at the water and splashing everywhere, even just walks through it regularly instead of around it. I typically sit in a chair with my feet in the pool every afternoon or occasionally sit in the pool itself. If it holds up the rest of the summer, and even if I have to buy another next year, this was definitely worth its price!Let me add info about cleaning it. At first, by the second day, the water was cloudy and by the third day getting slimy on the bottom and a bit green, full on algae and bubbles (& I assume with mosquitoes) by Day 4. CDC says to not add chemicals to a kiddy pool < 200 gallons, and my dogs do drink the water, but changing the water daily was flooding the grass and using a lot of water to refill. A brand name chlorine bleach company has a web page on how to use their product in a kiddy pool. Every afternoon, I skim out the bugs and grass Every night, I dilute just under 1/4 cup of plain unscented bleach in 1 gallon of water and pour it in the pool. Chlorine breaks down under sunlight, hence adding it at night, and that also allows the chlorine to break down before the dogs are in it the next morning. Wow, what a difference! It takes about 2 weeks before I have to drain, rinse, and refill the pool and that’s just because of the dirt the dog tracks into it.May 2024: My Rottweiler puppy kept chewing on the walls of the pool I bought last year but it did make it until fall when I threw it away. I just ordered another one. She’s 16 months old, much less of a chewer but not completely over it, so we’ll see how long the pool sides last this year!” – P. Ratliff (Source: Amazon)

“Durable and great fun for the dogs… and me! UPDATE 4/12/20 — I am now the proud owner of THREE of these dog pools. I have an XXL (photos of the brown 60 lb dog and black 40 lb dog), XL (photos of the merle coated 80 lb dog), and S pool for our backyard frogs that wouldn’t stay out of the big pools! Yes, I bought the frogs their own pool… that’s how amazing these pools are! We had the XXL and XL pools out every day last summer (changed the water 2x per week) and they were used daily by all 3 dogs. There have been no punctures of any sort or any issues at all with these pools, and my dogs can play pretty rough at times. The XXL pool was used for both the 2018 and 2019 summers with no issues. These pools are literally my dogs’ favorite part of summer… I can’t keep them out of them! As soon as we get back from a walk, they jump right in!UPDATE 5/22/19 — I wrote the below review after a week of using the dog pool last summer. It ended up holding up well all summer… no rips or leaks. The dogs get so excited when we bring it out and start filling it up. We’ve since added another dog to our pack and will be purchasing another one of these pools!ORIGINAL REVIEW 7/2018 — I am really happy with this dog pool! I ordered the XXL size so it was big enough for my two dogs (60 lbs and 40 lbs) and quite honestly, for me to sit in too! The pool is plenty large enough for the dogs to splash around and lay down in, even with me sitting in there. The pool came with a patch, so I was concerned that it could easily rip, but it seems very durable. There is a lighter blue line around the inside bottom edge of the pool, and my 60 lb dog sees it and keeps “digging” at the bottom edge and he hasn’t ripped it. It’s been 90+ here for the past week and we’ve been using the pool every day. It’s a great way to keep the dogs cool!” – Kate M (Source: Amazon)

“PERFECT size. This is the perfect size for my 10lb Yorkie and 13lb HavaPoo. They can jump in easily as well. This is the Small size. I did get the Medium but it was too tall for them to jump in comfortably.” – nicole f. (Source: Amazon)

“Durable and Heavy Duty Construction! Great as a small-space “cool-down” pool for adults! This is a replacement for a similar (poor-build) wading pool I had last year. Right out of the box, I could tell that the liner was really heavy-duty: the seams were sealed well, it has a slight texture, and the inner sidewall supports felt to be appropriate for the 63″ diameter size. It was super easy to set up…basically, you take it out of the box, rinse it off, fill it, and go have some summer fun!As I wanted a more permanent water feature, I did take the time to level the spot where it was to be situated. I did put a base layer of all-purpose sand, and leveled the spot, right on my lawn. Not leveling a pool like this can cause the liner seams to fail, so take the extra time for this step. (On a deck or patio installation, I would put a layer of outdoor carpeting underneath). Also, the final welded seam area, where the drain spigot is, is to be placed on a side out of the full sun to avoid seam failure. I did spray the leveled sand area with a fungicide to dissuade mold and mildew invading the outer bottom liner. That base layer is covered with an outdoor semipermeable “grass-type” thin carpet, sprayed again with fungicide, and finally, the pool was laid in place. The volume is about 100 gallons, so I do Rx a 300 gph cartridge pool filter for a more permanent solution. I also did put together a “pool testing”/water quality adjusting kit. IMPORTANT! be sanitary with any small body of water such as this, if you are not draining it every 2 days! Spa test strips, Bromine tabs, and dispenser, etc.Finish your set-up with a couple of Adirondack chairs, a couple of Tiki Torches, a wireless speaker, and a side table to hold your favorite beverage… and you are ready to Rock and Roll for the summer season. If you are new to “the pool life”, I highly recommend this item to get your “feet wet”…Your pups, your kids, and especially you will thoroughly enjoy this item.” – DRC (Source: Amazon)

“My huskies LOVE this pool! I wanted an upgrade from our tiny plastic kiddie pool and found this. I ended up ordering the XXL side and it’s perfect for both of them to lounge in and cool off! They can easily get in and our and love lounging in it. One of our pups even gets excited and scratched at the bottom and the pool was tough enough to not tear. It also comes with a couple patches if ever needed. It was very easily to set up, and drains easily with the plug near the bottom. Would purchase again.” – Tiffani LeRoy (Source: Amazon)

“Great pool for hot days! Our dogs have enjoyed this pool for 4 years now. They never get tired of it on summer days. Also, it’s easy to put away and store.” – Donna Silinski (Source: Amazon)

“Fantastic dog pool. Absolutely love this dog pool, it is super easy to fill and drain! Not to mention folds up really well for when we don’t want our dog in the pool. Our Australian Shepherd/border collie is 65 pounds and the large was perfect for him with a little extra room but not too much. We love it so much we plan to buy an extra so he can have one at his grandparents house! Definitely good material nice and sturdy. Most of the time our dog puts his ball in and sits in it. If I don’t drain it he’ll constantly try to get in it!” – Sammy (Source: Amazon)
