“Perfect for families with young kids! This is an honest review after having this pool for over a month now.My husband searched the internet and read review after review to find our family the perfect pool this summer. And this is it!-For starters, we have a 4 year old, 2 year old, and a 2 month old. This is a great size for our two older kids to swim in. It’s deep enough for them to swim from end to end. Shallow enough where we don’t have to be in the pool with them and can watch them from the side of the pool.-We also fit all 5 of us in here comfortably and let our littlest one splash around. Great for the whole family!-Pool is very sturdy and material is nice and thick-Easy set up! We put a tarp down before setting it up to prevent any holes on the bottom.-We filled it up Memorial weekend, and we’re almost to the 4th of July. We have not had to empty it out since then! Our kids swim in it every day, sometimes twice a day. Here are some tips to keeping it crystal clear:-We purchased the INTEX C1000 Krystal Clear cartridge filter Pump and run it every night for 10 hours-Change filter out every 2 weeks (you can buy a 2 pack at Walmart for $7)-We purchased the Intex Deluxe Wall Mount Surface Skimmer. This pulls all the bigger debris in like bugs, leaves and sticks from the trees above-Vacuum every morning with Intex Rechargeable Handheld Vacuum Cleaner before the kids swim-Shock it every week or two-when it starts to look a little hazy-Use clarifier every two weeks-We keep 2 of the 1” chlorine tabs in the turtle chlorine floaterIs it the prettiest? No. Would we love the look of a stock tank pool? Yes! But those aren’t practical if your kids actually want to swim. This can also be taken down after summer and (hopefully!) put back up the next year. If it doesn’t last through the summer, it’s cheap enough to replace. Overall, this has been the best pool for our family, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we have!” – HTLane (Source: Amazon)

“Easy set up. I’m impressed with the quality and ease of set up. The kiddos are happy with it. It’s perfect for our 2 and 4 year old.” – Kaylyn (Source: Amazon)

“Great pool! There are some tricks though. This pool was bigger than we expected and takes up a chunk of our patio, but we love it so much! We opted to not use a ladder and just have a step stool – works for everyone just fine. It is very sturdy and works perfectly for our family. We didn’t check our patio to make sure it is level, but it turned out just fine! Took maybe 30 minutes to put it together with my husband.I bought a cheap solar cover and it works fantastic to keep the temperature from dropping in the water at night. It also keeps the stuff from the trees out of the pool when the wind blows. It was a game changer, as the water kept getting too cold.We have a 1″ chlorine floater and I do two chlorine tabs at a time, always making sure when they start to get small that I add another two (a few days apart). I do have liquid chlorine ($5 at a big box store) and have added a couple capfuls after heavy use. But the floater seems to do fine!I did have to use quite a bit of chlorine stabilizer right at the beginning but it lasts for a long time. It takes forever to dissolve so I put it in a reusable mesh produce bag and tie it to the hose where the water comes back in to the pool from the pump. That way we can swim while it dissolves over a day or two in the moving water.I have all the other chemicals on hand (Ph up and down, baking soda for alkaline). But I have only had to use baking soda one time. I check the test strip every morning.A lesson learned – another reviewer said to make sure you have a few inches between the leg and the edge of the patio, which we did. It was fine at first, but a few days in, the leg went off the patio. When the pool fills, the legs spread! We put some wood under them and that works fine for this summer.I use a pool skimmer (pole with a net) to clean the surface and the bottom, however, I think a pool vacuum would be better for this size. I may do that next summer. We wish we had bought this years ago! We use it almost every day and our granddaughter enjoys it so much.” – KatieMo (Source: Amazon)

“Just Do It! You won’t regret it! We purchased the 9’10” x 6’7.5” pool. It fit perfectly on our small patio and is big enough for two adults to enjoy a nice leisurely soak. It even accommodated two mama floats during adult swim! We’ve had 4 kids in it playing and frolicking and not a single one of them has complained yet.The structure has held up quite well and the liner is very well made. We, being super careful, purchased an additional tarp for underneath, just in case the concrete cracked or something. We purchased a good Intex 1000 gal pump to go with it, which has worked perfectly. My recommendation to other buyers is to stay close as the pool fills and work the wrinkles out of the bottom as it fills. I let the water fill too much before I thought of that, so I couldn’t get all the wrinkles out. But, thankfully, no one has been bothered by the two or three that remained.” – TNGirlOnFire (Source: Amazon)

“So far so good! I just set this pool up over the weekend. I did it by myself. Setup for pool and pump (i got the 1000 gallon pump from intex), really took less than an hour. The hard part was preparing the ground so it’s level, since my backyard slopes downward. Seriously, pool setup isn’t difficult. Leveling the ground on the other hand was not fun. I bought rubber mats to put underneath, the Intex pool skimmer, chlorine floater and tabs, vacuum, and a waterproof pool light that changes colors. So far it’s great!” – Tina G. (Source: Amazon)

“All set up and ready for fun! Well, contrary to what some of the reviewers stated it took more than 30 minutes to set it all up. But 2.5 hours later and only minor grunts and growls from my husband and it’s ready to roll. Our deck is built on top of a cement pad and we checked with a contractor friend and set it up carefully placing the supports on the supports. My grandchildren can cool off and hopefully it will outlast the cheaper versions that are basically disposables! I will report back if anything goes amiss. Today, I am satisfied. I purchased the 7’2” one and can see my husband and I soaking with an adult beverage after a day of gardening!” – Woods (Source: Amazon)

“Intex 9.8′ x 79″ x 29.5 We just put ours up June 6 in the evening. The next morning our water was lower and the deck was soaked. We hope it’s no leak.Overall to ensemble the pool it seemed easy yet we had to back track to take out the poles inside part pole A, and B for the middle legs which is a total of 6 legs. Not sure if they specified it in the actual description but the photo didn’t show that part we missed. So far we can’t wait to use it. It’s 2 feet deep my son will love it.” – Marquetta Stokes (Source: Amazon)

“Easier than you think! This pool is fantastic for our family of four. I have two kids under the age of 5. I put this together myself in an hour or so- the assembly was pretty easy. We separately purchased the 1000 pump. My local pool store helped me get the chemicals I needed to balance out the water. Swimming is now part of our nightly summer routine. Highly recommend.” – Ashley L. (Source: Amazon)

“Glad we purchased. Super easy to put up…just follow directions lol…adults enjoyed it also! Definitely worth the buy in this Vegas heat” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)

“Love it! This is our second time purchasing one of these pools. About 3 summers ago we purchased the small square one that was only a foot deep. Does anyone know what size pump I need with it though? Didn’t realize it had the option for a pump and I hate dumping it and cleaning every few days! We also bought a cover for it.” – Johnna Billingsley (Source: Amazon)

“Saved my summer. I have nothing but awesome things to say about this pool. I purchased the 6×9 and it is perfect for floating and enjoying the sun. I can completely submerge myself when I’m too hot and want to cool down. This pool saved my summer. Maintaining a large pool is too much work when you’re the only one going in it. I purchased the stronger filter pump to go with it and a small chemical set. I also invested in a small pool vacuum, cover and a cheap outdoor rug to put underneath it. The pool has been up all summer and all I have had to do is replace the filter cartridge weekly and add chlorine. I have not had to shock it once and the water is still crystal clear and clean. It was easy to put together, no tools needed, took about 30 minutes. If you want a pool that’s easy to upkeep and don’t want to commit to something large or permanent, I highly recommend purchasing this item.” – jason (Source: Amazon)

“Wonderful addition to yard. This pool is an upgrade from the smallest one which I had for 5 years. I put in together by myself in a little over a half hour this morning, and enjoyed a nice float this afternoon. Looking forward to a lot of years of enjoyment from this one!” – Kathy P. (Source: Amazon)

“Perfect Small Pool for Kids. Got this for our 3 & 5 year olds and it is absolutely perfect. We have a very sloped yard, so our only option was to use the limited space available on the patio. Total assembly time took 2 hours but I was moving slow and fielding work calls simultaneously. It was very easy and I attached the optional Intex C1000 pump to keep the water clean (not included with pool purchase). I also followed other reviewers suggestions of putting a foam exercise mat underneath it for a softer pool bottom. All in, the total purchase price for the pool, pump & the mat was under $250. Arrived 3 days after ordering everything, absolutely cannot beat this setup for that price. Extremely satisfied!” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)

“Great pool for smaller spaces. This pool was easy to set up. We bought the Intex C1000 pump, a chlorine floater and a cover to go with it. Its been set up for about a week and so far everything is going well. The instructions were pretty straight forward. Our patio has a slight decline for drainage and it is very visible with the pool water level, so ensure the surface you put it on is as level as possible.Tip: once it is assembled, make sure the side poles running along the top (long walls) are all the way connected/into each other, otherwise the long walls will bow a bit and you’ll have to drain a little, push them all the way in and fill again.” – J. Pratt (Source: Amazon)

“Great pool! The reason why I gave it 4 stars is because there were two pinholes underneath one end of the pool, but once we filled it up it didn’t affect the pool. It’s very sturdy and holds up really well. Super fast delivery also. It’s the perfect size for our patio and the whole family loves it, even our 2 dogs. I bought an Intex pump separately and it’s perfect for this pool, easy to set up took about an hour that’s including attaching the pump. Great Pool for the Summer.” – Colette C (Source: Amazon)

“Better than expected! Well it took closer to 3 hrs to set it up since the directions are confusing and some pieces aren’t labeled at all, but once you figure it out the pool is amazing.Good size and sturdy and looks like a real pool. I’m over 6 feet tall and have room to stretch out and even go fully underwater. I keep it covered and use chemicals and a filter and it stays pretty clean. After trying an 800gph filter I found the 1000gph works better to move the water and keep things cleaner (using the Intex C1000 Krystal Clear 1000gph).Overall very happy and couldn’t beat the price either.” – K. (Source: Amazon)

“Perfect! This pool is perfect! I love that it’s shallow so I don’t need a pool permit/fence yet just deep enough for my 6 & 2.5 year olds. Just yesterday we had 6 kids in it from the ages of 22 months-6 years. We bought it originally as an alternative to the inflatable pools we always buy and toss at the end of the summer, but after buying the pool, then going back and buying the filter and chlorine floater and chlorine, this thing is here to stay. For the cost of the pool and the filter, floated, and chlorine tablets, it was less than a monthly membership at a local pool. Even if this thing doesn’t survive storage over the winter, I will definitely be purchasing another. One great thing we ended up doing at the side of the pool that the kids get in, we put a bucket to clean their feet before getting in and then a folding step stool as a “ladder”.Overall, it was a GREAT buy and look forward to spending the summer outside by the pool with the kiddos.” – Chelsea S.
