“2nd year using this greenhouse! When I first got it and put it together I was pretty happy – we used a mallet to make sure all pieces were securely inside the connectors – doing it by hand they FELT all the way in but when we used the mallet they always went in further. The mesh shelves are pretty flimsy and we definitely used extra zip ties to secure them. I also used some pieces of cardboard to reinforce them and they held my seedling trays fairly well. We set it up against the house on a concrete paver patio so there was no staking it – I had heavy garden pavers and just sat them on the bottom part of the frame inside and on the outside, sitting on top of the plastic flap.At one point we were predicted to get heavy winds (we did) and I rolled out a piece of black landscaping cloth to go over it with a bit of a “flap” at the bottom mimicking the plastic cover flaps and then sat more pavers on the flap. It still moved with the wind but it stayed put and nothing fell off shelves inside. If you need a greenhouse that won’t blow away in a storm you should probably just build one. For what this is, it is as sturdy as it can be and a great price.Update: early this spring I had emptied the greenhouse and had been meaning to take it down when a big wind storm snuck up on us. It was definitely picking up the empty, unsecured green house and starting to toss it around so my son and I ran out and took the cover off so it was just the frame and then we hurriedly pulled the frame apart as much as we could and just piled it so nothing would blow away. Admittedly, it got away from me to put it away properly, so it sat there – plastic cover and pile of metal poles and mesh shelves in the Arizona sun and heat the ENTIRE summer…” – jennifer (Source: Amazon)
“Great walk in greenhouse easy to put together. Pretty easy to put together, but I would get pallets or some kind of foundation and secure it. I actually was able to put screws but be careful not to screw too deep or you’ll break the plastic. I also used long wood poles for the front and secured with hanging plants, I screwed this entire greenhouse to wood pallets 1 1/2 pallets other half to front of greenhouse I also got heavy duty z ties didn’t secure Sheron case I want to move or loose one for taller but there easy enough to hold a lot too all and all I’m pleased with it.” – Cynthia Skinthia’s (Source: Amazon)
“Greenhouse virgin. This is my first time using a greenhouse to start from seeds. This was very simple to put together but the plastic ripped on the seam of the one zipper so I can’t zip it all the way.I’m putting up my grow lights in there tomorrow so we will see how it goes.” – Carissa Michener (Source: Amazon)
“Easy assembly, but tedious, no extra parts, says its not meant for outdoors.. I assembled this completely alone. One person job. Easy to assemble, straight forward instructions, no extra parts included like the instructions state. Also the instructions have a note of caution that this is not meant for outdoor use however the advertisement has a couple pictures of the greenhouse house outdoors. Ill use the string ro hold down to my deck fencing and sand bags for the pole structures below. Seems qualified for a my roses this winter and eventually for seedlings.” – Rose (Source: Amazon)
“Good quality for the price. It’s really good quality for the price. Not extremely sturdy but I don’t feel like it’s just going to fall apart. It needed some fortifying so we secured the seams of the covering with clear gorilla tape. We also lined the bottom with 5 foot 2 x 2 wood to help seal the bottom to prevent critters from getting in. It definitely does a good job with retaining heat so with the fact that I am located in Florida, we made sure to put it in a shaded area, so it doesn’t overheat the plants within it.Overall it was easy to assemble, instructions were fairly easy to understand (instructions are PICTURES- NOT WRITTEN so if you need written instructions to understand then you’ll have a more challenging time)I was able to assemble it by myself and then my husband helped me with the concrete base and fortifying it.” – Jaye Kelly (Source: Amazon)
“Exceeded my expectations. I bought this greenhouse for indoor use. I was a bit complicated to put together. The directions weren’t very clear. The plastic joints were not marked and there were A LOT of them that looked so alike, just slightly different. Took about 2 hours to put together. It is very sturdy. I would suggest using zip ties to hold down the shelves and I purchased a waterproof mat to go under it. Worth every penny.” – KBowen (Source: Amazon)
“Pretty Impressed. This is a great little greenhouse. I bought it because I don’t have a flow hood and needed a sterile environment to work in.The ties that are attached to the plastic, which secures it to the shelving, is very fragile. The very first one I tried to tie, broke off. I was more gentle with the rest of them and they were fine.I also steam cleaned the inside and the plastic stood up to the heat. The zipper door is really convenient and has tie-up strings. My biggest complaint, is in the assembly instructions. There are several different fittings, and they don’t come labeled. I had to take it apart at the end because I swapped a couple of pieces that I didn’t realize that it made a difference until I was almost finished.Over all, it’s exactly what I needed and the shelf space is perfect.” – Earthling (Source: Amazon)
“It’s getting hot in here! This is the perfect little greenhouse for backyard gardeners. It heats up real nice and is quite spacious. Assembled easily with no missing parts.” – Erika Lombardo (Source: Amazon)
“It’s well worth it, acouple hrs putting frame together, 2hrs reinforcing the seams. I liked it was easy to put together, sturdenest isn’t bad, can do a few thing’s to make the shelve’s sturdier. For the money, U can’t beat it, there’s alway’s those that r never satisfied, or lack common sense. I read alot of review’s, and used a whole roll of duct tape, reinforcing the seam’s, read that in the review’s. All in all, u can’t beat it, just don’t plop in anywhere. Right now i have 17 auto flower’s in it, and 7 photo’s, seam’s might be alittle ugly, but it’s not gonna fall apart. Thnku to who engineered this, yet keeping it affordable” – EatRoadKill2 (Source: Amazon)
“Doing well so far. I added some lights to the top. My plants are doing very well, though I’m about to run out of room. So far the green house has held up very well through a couple of storms. I did use some extra zip ties on the shelves. I don’t see a problem with them as some of the other customers have. Just purchase some higher quality zip ties and use more of them. It’s a cheap fix.” – Mathese (Source: Amazon)
“Shipping time. The only thing about this i didn’t like is how long it took to get here! I Ordered it on the 10th and was supposed to get here on the 17th but didn’t till the 29th. It’s not the sturdiest shelving so i put pieces of wood under them and for the bottom shelves. It cost me another $30 to put in the wood and extra zip ties in. By myself it took me 45 minutes to put together. It would have taken a shorter time but I’m 7 months pregnant and had to take breaks lol.” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)
“Great value. Used heavy skewers and cable inside to secure frame to ground. Has withstood several storms and 30 mph winds without issue. I would not use the small stakes that come with greenhouse to secure for winds. Love this greenhouse.” – Arkyhiker (Source: Amazon)
“Great little greenhouse. This was pretty easy to assemble, looks great and fits in the house which was a must and is working perfectly to overwinter plants while keeping cats and dogs out of them. I love it! I’ll use it to start seeds in spring and summer so we will get year round use.” – Jmclaughlin (Source: Amazon)
“Indoor/protected use. Way nicer than I expected for 60 bucks and the all the negative reviews! I mean, you don’t buy a cheap plastic tent from China to put outside and expect it to not blow away! Arrived fast, all the pieces were there, easy to assemble, looks good and functions perfect as an interior tropical plant room for controlling temp and humidity. Only negative is the bad plastic smell which I’m hoping will dissipate quickly.” – junglethumbs (Source: Amazon)
“This greenhouse is wonderful!! I’m so excited that it was so easy to set up! I absolutely love this greenhouse! Affordable, compact for smaller yards, sturdy, and so cute!” – Gina Leslie (Source: Amazon)
