“Great product. This is a very good product and was easy for my wife and I to assemble. However unless you can dead lift 250 pounds you will not be able to easily move it. We didn’t know how we wanted it positioned for sun coverage so we filled it with almost 250 pounds of sand. THEN we decided to position it, major fail we couldn’t move it without taking a chance of harming our backs. “Much heavier duty than I thought it would be. Well built, no issues, assembly relatively easy. Not sure why people said it was difficult to get the sand in it. It was easy. I bought four fifty-pound bags of play sand and just cut about 3 inches off the corners of the bags and worked the sand out of the bags and into the base. Just go slow and push the sand back with your hand when the hole gets full. Then after a full bag I stood it up so the sand fell to the bottom. After 4 bags I filled the remaining space with water. Caution! The base is extremely heavy! If you don’t have it on a smooth concrete or asphalt surface you won’t be able to move it without 2 or 3 strong men with strong backs. This was 1/3 of the cost of others so I figured I’d give it a try and go from there. I just put it up today (a year later). Nothing was missing.
