“Easy to assemble, good quality. We got this to try with our kittens to see if they would be interested in wall furniture. It took them about a week to realize it was there, and now they’re using it pretty regularly. It is a bit too big for them right now, and they’re able to slip out underneath the wooden beam, so those with small cats beware. But I doubt that will be a problem in the coming months as they get bigger. Overall, putting this thing together and mounting it to the wall took 10 minutes at most. As with most, we used our own studs as we didn’t want to risk the given ones failing. Once mounted it looks very nice and seems to be high quality. It has held up nicely to my kitten’s teeth and claws. “Cozy hideaway. I got this as part of an attempt to create more vertical spaces for one of my cats to get some peace and quiet away from a younger cat who frequently bothers her. She was cautious at first but has now tested it out and taken to it as one of her preferred spots for an afternoon nap! I appreciate that the holes are 16″ apart–I was able to install it in a stud on both sides, which makes me feel like she is very safe here. Pictured are our two biggest chonks, each about 13 lbs, who have the most epic bromance of all time. They regularly pile in the hammocks together for grooming or napping. “They love them. The cats LOVED them from the start (steps took a bit)! No problem for our big cat. I only got a picture of our #19 NFC, the others are normal. Usually his head is tucked in and his feet push against the back and he spills a bit out the front, you can tell from the disgruntled look I messed with him till he stuck his head up. The fabric is great because the hair just sticks to it and he will roll around and get masses of fur loose. I didn’t use the anchors but 3″ deck screws into the beam behind. Sturdy so far, checked at one week and one month, solid as when mounted. An improvement – if they could place the mounting holes outside the support dowels or just further from the dowels (it would require a longer or taller board though so probably not).
