“Better than Expected! I’ve had this fridge now for over a year and it honestly has yet to disappoint! Other reviews had me wary that it’d cease working after a short time, but so far, so good. Some things to note: after a few months, if I had unplugged it, when I’d plug it back in, the motor would run SO loud for a few minutes, but after it was fine. I purchased this to keep foods for myself where I work, and now I think that it’s really only for soda cans. It’s just too small to hold much of anything. “Exceeded my expectations. I had been wanting something like this for my upstairs home office, so I could keep snacks and drinks cold. Having to run up and down the stairs disrupts my workflow sometimes. I wasn’t sure at first because it sounded like it was only a little cooler than the ambient temp, but I didn’t want a full mini fridge either, just something to keep a few drinks and some snacks cool.I got this and first off, it’s cute. I love the retro look. More important, it really works quite well.I will say that I am not trying to cool drinks down from room temperature – I’m putting already chilled cans in it from my downstairs fridge. That said, they are staying cold all day in this little fridge. It’s absolutely doing the job I hired it to do, and quite well. I can plug it in before I take my morning shower, and by the time I’m done I can bring my drinks upstairs to put in it for the day and it’s already cool. At the end of the day, I can unplug it to save energy. Very convenient.It’s not huge, but that’s perfect for my needs as I didn’t want something that would take up a lot of room. It’s roughly the same size as a playmate cooler, maybe a little longer. It will fit six cans, or if you leave the little shelf in you can fit four cans and some snacks. You could also remove the shelf and fit the taller 16 to 20 ounce bottles if you preferred. For a small space it’s actually pretty versatile.It’s also nice and quiet.
