“Honest Review. I was scared to purchase an ice maker after reading all the reviews on different sites. I finally purchased this one and glad I did! Manual was easy to read and making ice for the first time was a breeze. The noise is a low hum like a microwave and doesn’t bother me a bit. I know others who have ice makers that are ridiculously loud. Some of the bad reviews (like having to stir the ice every 40 min) are just common sense items for me. Now for the real deal- the ice is very small squarish nuggets and not exact Chik fil an ice or Sonic but for the price – I’m okay with this. Also- it does take time to get a good amount of ice when you first start. Be patient. We all had cups of ice within 15 minutes so I was happy. “Pretty Nice Ice Maker. We have a little fridge and bar by our pool, but our freezer space is pretty much nil. I ordered this Ice Maker so we could have some ice on hand. It’s a nice little ice maker. Easy to set up, easy to clean (just a bit time consuming). Just pour water in, push the button and off it goes. It doesn’t take long to start making and seems to make quite a bit out of a full bucket of water. The photo I took was probably 15 minutes in and my daughter already had 2 cups to eat. The bottom ice does melt fairly quick, it was quiet watery (but does drain right back into the water underneath to be used. If you have freezer space I would move batches into there rather than leave in the maker. The maker is a bit on the loud side, but you are able to just leave it and forget it so while out at the pool we don’t hear it. “Super Fast Ice! The four star review is for the machine, but customer service gets 5+ stars. I’ve purchased two of these ice machines. One was a gift for my sister, and one for myself. My sister’s started oozing a strange yellowish fluid after about a month of use. I have not that that issue. I contacted Amazon and they put me in touch with the seller who offered to send out a replacement immediately. They were so easy to work with!The machine does make great, soft nuggets of ice very fast, which we love. My main complaint is the noise. It’s pretty loud while the ice is being made but once the bucket is full the motor is quiet. Overall, I’m happy with it.
