They sat in a UPS warehouse for 3 days over the weekend & one arrived shrivelled & had crunchy leaves, had it been watered prior to shipping it likely would have okay. “Can’t wait for MORE! I’m gashing like a new Mama. all 6 of these plants would have easily been 10 bucks a piece at my local nursery or even local Amish farm but I only paid half of the cost! I was so skeptical ordering online plans. I’ve never done it before. I’ve always had been the type that’s got to see it in person; so to say I was nervous would be an understatement. These came wonderfully packaged with plenty of soil in them. Still moist and Saran wrapped to perfection. You could really tell there was care purposely delivered and assured with these plants. There are plants in your local box store that aren’t as well care for as these are! These babies are absolutely beautiful in person and I immediately transferred them to my terracotta pots, and I actually did what I typically do is add a little soil to the bottom of the pot before putting the plant in the new home. But there was so much soil packaged with it that I didn’t really need all that much…Which made transferring even easier. Oh and another plus these came extremely early which was a pleasant surprise. “Costa farms deserve all the praise. It is always curious how the plants get shipped. Each company packs them differently but very creative. These guys as some show had bamboo sticks separating the plants from squishing the green parts and shrinkwrap for soil to stay in place.I got mine and it was like a cat in the bag situation- I didn’t realize that I will get some plants and not the others. In the end I was happy because I got to know plants I never saw before. They all are doing exceptional. A month later and there is a ton of new growth, and in my book that’s a sign that the plants like it and the light in the room is sufficient. I will absolutely order from them again.
