“Good but not great, needs a griddle add-on! I’ll say the differences between the various models of Coleman grille/stove combos is very mysterious. Best I can tell, this grille/stove has more controllable valves, but DOES NOT have a starter capability. I was confused and expected that to be a feature on the stove we ordered. Overall, I am happy with the grill, but Coleman REALLY NEEDS to figure out a griddle for this series as an add-on option. I bought one from Amazon branded as Victoria out of Columbia that fit on. But would be that much better of a camp grill if I could buy a griddle that dropped right in. Coleman… are you reading this??**** Update After A Few Camping Trips ****I must say I really like the combination of simplicity and functionality this grille/stove offers. As I noted above, I am still wishing/hoping that Coleman gets off their butts and makes a griddle that drops into the grille side. A note about propane connection: I never intended to buy 1lb bottles for this grille/stove and bought an adapter hose to connect to 20lb propane tanks from the start. My Passport Ultra-light has a quick disconnect port on the propane system – here’s the rub: Coleman doesn’t make an adapter for this connecting to a low-pressure propane system. If you’re asking what I mean in your head… The camper already has a regulator at the tongue mounted propane tank “center.” Connecting at the quick-disconnect to the existing 1lb bottle “arm” means I now have two regulators in line…. this results in too low of a pressure to run the grille/stove.Coleman, you’re clearly not listening (because no griddle yet for the grille/stove) but if you are … we also need an adapter to connect the grille/stove directly to a low-pressure propane system. Please and thank you! Still 4 stars, great for what it’s great at!” – J. S. Dilbeck (Source: Amazon)

“Perfect gift for a camping lover. My husband loves it, he got crazy for it…El peso y tamaño, es perfecto.. totalmente recomendado” – Laura Silva (Source: Amazon)

“it seems just a good with a few improvements. I bought this to replace the Colman grill / stove I had for many years, until corrosion and time caught up. I was a little unsure about this model because I was able to buy it for a bit less money than the original stove but other than the fact that there is no electronic starter switch, which never works for more than 6 – 12 months anyway, it seems just a good with a few improvements. I brought this out on the beach to test out in high winds and it really performed beautifully. As most of you know that are familiar with outdoor cooking, the wind can be the biggest obstacles and having substantial wind guards that work is essential. “Neat little grill/stove – total novice here! So it is really hard to tell if there is a flame – it is clean burning but that really wasn’ t a big deal… the side flap on one side has some trouble staying in place – I would have a wooden skewer handy to easily relight the grill part if it does get put out by the wind (my long lighter thingy was too wide and I was in the middle of grilling and all)… I lost the directions and literally had no idea what I was doing and made lovely food right off the bat. I also used the griddle (bought separately). Definitely foil the grill ahead of use to keep clean!” – J.Turner (Source: Amazon)

“Works great, cooks evenly. Excellent grill! I am so glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews. This camp stove is perfect. I used it during my week vacation to Yellowstone and it worked great.I made coffee every morning and afternoon, grilled sausage, burgers and buns with no problem. It’s lightThe wind guards are perfectEasy to assemble for cookingEasily stored away.Easy to cleanGreat priceHas built it handleCooks evenlyAnd was inexpensiveI am undecided on the feet sticking up a little, which doesn’t allow it to be perfectly flat, but I had no issues.” – Lmeast Slacka (Source: Amazon)

“Best camping stove/grill I’ve owned.. So far This by far has been the best product I’ve owned for a camping grill/stove. Has easy temperature control and also is very lightweight and compatible. Seems to be very well made as well.” – CHRIS M (Source: Amazon)

“Very good product. I love it! We go jeeping and needed something for grilling and cooking. Very well made. The bbq grill is actually iron. It’s the perfect size” – Ramona (Source: Amazon)

“Durable little grill/stove combo, but watch the heat. I’ve had this thing for about 6 years and it hasn’t failed. It’s durable but the cooking/heat is not easily controlled, nor is it particularly high on the side burner. However, I wouldn’t travel without it from a day bbq at the beach or park to a weeklong camping trip to Mexico. The burner control valve on the grill side is basically an on/off valve (at least on my particular grill). Even on a low setting, the burner was on high. So basically to keep it at a “medium” setting, I have to have the valve almost completely off. The igniter works flawlessly even after 6 years. The side burner is woefully underpowered and it struggles to heat even a small pot of water to a boil. To use it, you have to lower the wind guard. We’ve complemented this grill with a Blackstone 17″ griddle, so we really only use the side burner for boiling and the grill for barbecuing. The grill surface area only accommodates one or two steaks depending on size, three or four burgers and about a half dozen dogs. So keep that in mind when you start cooking especially for a bigger or really hungry crowd.I use foil to line the bottom of the grill to facilitate clean up and it work great. On mildly windy days, the wind guards work, but you can’t use the side burner or have any place to put condiments. This grill combo is always in my truck with at least a couple of one pound tanks of fuel just in case we want a last minute camp trip or day trip. I’m going to buy the bulk hose adapter to use a 20# tank with a splitter so I can fuel both the Coleman and my Blackstone. It’s a durable little combo unit that hasn’t failed me yet and has made camping and days out with my wife and kids a consistently fun experience.” – Beach n Jeep (Source: Amazon)
