“I am so so happy I took the chance on this chair, I absolutely love it. It came in a big box and seemed very sturdily packaged. All the wood was wrapped in protective foam as well. I think it actually took longer to unwrap than to put together, lol. I was a little nervous about that because I saw a few reviews that said the drill holes for the screws had been left off, but I did not have that problem. I just flipped the seat of the chair upside down on a dining table chair, put the frame over it and used the screwdriver they included to attach them. There was some resistance, but not too bad. I actually went a little too far and had to loosen a couple slightly because the chair became unbalanced, but it was a 30 second fix. I was also kind of expecting that I’d have to put the frame together, but it was already done, which was really nice.As for the chair itself, I think it’s beautiful. It’s real wood and clearly heavy and solid, but not ridiculously so. The finish and color of the wood is perfect for what I wanted; I included some closeup pics so hopefully you can see. I also included one of the fabric so you can see that as well. It’s soft, but not like velvet. The cushions are firm, but not so much that you can’t be comfy sitting in it for a while. “I was worried because the title said walnut, but the pictures looked lighter. It’s real wood. The color is like oak not blonde, but not too orange either, similar to my floors (I tried to show the floors in the picture for reference. Also showed the light switch for height reference.) There are no screw holes unlike similar chairs in this style. It came mostly assembled, just had to screw the seat into the stand.
