“I was weary to purchase this because I live alone and there were reviews about having to drill holes and nightmare assemblies. The couch did come in (3) very large boxes so I needed help getting them up 2 flights of stairs to my apartment, but after that the assembly was pretty painless. All of the pre-drilled holes lined up on all various parts and pieces, and I didn’t need any additional tools. The couch came with an allen key and the exact amount of bolts and washers needed to put everything together. There was no damage to the fabric or frames, and at first the couch cushions were a little stiff but after letting them air out for a day this is actually a pretty comfortable couch for an Amazon piece of furniture. My only complaint is that I had to completely unpack all three boxes before I started, because some of the bolts came in the first box with the instructions, the second box had no bolts and no instructions, and the third box had the remainder of the bolts. Definitely not a dealbreaker, but I did get worried at first that I was missing pieces. Overall, the couch looks great, is comfortable so far, and was easy for me to put together by myself.
