“Best Patti lights, period. These are the best selling patio lights on Amazon and I understand why. Just buy them.The last set of patio lights I had were incandescent with glass bulbs and when we trimmed our tree some were broken. I bought these as a replacement and I’m so glad I did. The globes are plastic and durable which makes them much less breakable. The color of the light is like incandescent light, soft to warm white.Each fixture has a ring at the top that you can hang on nylon line which is how I set mine up. “A warm glow on a summer night (update). These are perfect. I liked that you could order them in different lengths. 50′ was perfect for this project. We put them up using Jumbo office clips and then removed the silver handles (simple-just squeeze and remove). They have a soft golden glow with an old fashioned lightbulb feel.UPDATE: So impressed. We decided to leave them up all winter even though we removed the canopy. Over the plugs, I have large green plug protectors that I attached in the upper corners. Those kept the plugs dry and away from little hands. These survived the super rainy Oregon winter… and snow… and have continued on another year. Not one has blown out. “Nice Light & Ambiance. We have a 33×14 covered patio that we wanted to have the string light look so we chose these lights at Amazon’s recommendation. Overall I am please with the lights after just having installed them, however I will be sure to do a follow up on long term. First impressions are easy, I value long term reviews to see what the product is really like.I set up hooks on the ceiling of the patio and hung the cord from there followed by installing the bulbs. The bulbs are not led, they are not the corn shaped bulbs and are actually much smaller. (just in case that matters to you). The light given off is a yellow with hints of orange, which is just fine for our use. Considering I have 100 bulbs I thought the light would be over powering but it looks rather nice. I may go back in the future if it turns out there is too much light and remove some bulbs.I like the look these bulbs give off, the light is just right and was pretty easy to hang up. Husband and I purchased five boxes and each box had two spare bulbs. Which was a saving grace because the first trial of hanging , my husband accidentally busted eight lights. The only complaint I have are the plugs don’t lock. I wish the company could come up with a better locking mechanism for the plugs. “So far, SO GOOD! We just put these lights up last week – followed advice/directions to remove the bulbs first. Wasn’t a big deal, probably took an extra 10-15 minutes. No burnt out bulbs, and I’m happy to have extras and fuses included for when we will need them.
