“My Puppies Love It. I ordered two for my: 9 1/2 inch tall, 11.5 lb. and my 10 inch tall: 12.44 pound Chihuahuas.Now to the photos; both beds arrived in great condition, packed very well in boxes that seemed small. Initially they’re in a thick bag taped shut. The inner bag is vacuum sealed. I was a little concerned when I opened the first one and like any thing new it had a weird odor, not super strong, but I could smell it. My older dog has allergies and breathing issues.The bed was understandably misshapen and pretty flat. It was soft and the center cushion felt a little thin.I read other reviews and some people suggested washing the bed. I washed and dried the first bed I unpacked in the delicate cycles of my front loading washer & dryer. (very little soap and no fabric softeners were used) Easy to clean.Now to the photographs. I read reviews about issues with the shape, and the center padding. I don’t know how well these beds would hold up with larger dogs but I have small dogs, larger Chihuahuas to be exact. You can see in the photos how awful the bed looks out of the box. Trying to fluff it didn’t work very well so washing it is definitely the way to go. I did not fluff or shape the washed bed.In the first photograph with the washed bed on the left: you can see that the bed is really fluffy and the shape looks right, The center cushion is much tighter, fluffier and sits towards the top of the bed. The second photograph is the tops of the beds. Again the one on the left is tighter and sits high. In the next photograph you can see how much taller/fluffier the washed bed is. I called Baby Huey over. He initially sat in the unwashed bed for a moment then made his way over to the washed bed, crawled in and napped in the bed for the rest of the afternoon. “My dog loves this bed! I own several beds for my dog, but she doesn’t really use them. I bought two of these to be small beds to toss in my office while I work, and another for just wherever I think she wants one. She normally sleeps balled up, and she jumped in these right away. I was torn on the size, because she is on the limit for the medium size. The picture is of my 42lb Blue Healer in a Medium bed. 3lbs lighter than the stated maximum size. This is the first time she has used this bed and it is only been unpacked for a day. They come vacuum sealed, so they say to give them 48 hours to fully expand. “Seems to be very comforting. Got this for my moms dog after seeing similar ones advertised on instagram to be comforting for dogs. He can be a quite needy and clingy especially when my mom is out of town and I’m dog sitting. Often when I am working at my desk or sitting on the couch watching tv he wants to be held at all times. With this bed he has been a little more independent and had less separation anxiety. I am able to work at my desk and he would climb out of my lap to go lay in the bed himself for several hours. He even continues sleeping in the bed when I leave the room for short periods of time (he usually follows me to the bathroom or anywhere else I go). “PERFECT. I have a 15lb Chiweenie and she is obsessed with this bed! She is VERY picky, but from the moment I pulled it out of the box, it was love at first sight and she hoped right into it. I got the small size and it’s a great fit for her. She loves resting her head on the pillowy edge or nestling under it. She loves it on hot (cool pockets of air) or on cold days with a blanket tucked it. I’ve even tossed it directly into my washing machine and air dried it—looks good as new! It’s also been really wonderful for taking my dog on car rides too as she’s so little and tends to struggle and get stressed without the extra support provided by the raised edge (I always use it with a special dog seatbelt system for her safety). “Perfect snuggle bed. Love the camel color which is more like a taupe (there are some mauve/pink undertones). I bought the 20×20 (XS) size and it’s more than big enough for my 9-10 lb skinny and leggy chihuahua-terrier who likes to sleep curled up. She fits in the middle and even has room for a very small blanket too. It’s very soft and plumped up quickly when removed from the vacuum sealed bag. The bottom cushion is a good thickness.
