“The search is over! I have been looking at this style of stool for years! I pulled the trigger on these (backless and with back) to update all the stools in our home! I had seen others from World Market that got bad reviews, ordered some from Target and they looked cheap (even though they were the same price), tried another similar brand that Wayfair sells but was also available on Amazon that were close, but nothing like these!I love they have matching backless and back stools.The leather looks real and there is no stitching on them!The wood is a nice color – slightly lighter/honey but goes well with our darker “coffee” stained floors.The back is high enough to actually support a person.They were very easy to assemble. Each piece comes with its own screwdriver and just the right number of parts.I did get them on prime day for $150 each. The backless don’t seem to go on sale.I have yet to spray leather protectant on them, but I’m hoping that the color stays the same after. “Great quality, very sturdy, beautiful stools. These stools get daily use -and almost a year later- they still look like new! They are the best Pottery Barn dupe around! The PB version of this stool starts at $600 PER STOOL, depending on the selection!! (The benefit to the PB version is you can customize the leather color and wood finish. The Amazon version couldn’t be customized.) I get tons of compliments and multiple friends of mine have ordered their own!The only negative was, when I ordered, Amazon would only allow an order of 3 per account.
