A towering tribute constructed for the most daring of little climbers: the Mount McKinley. Whether they scale the rock climbing wall, scramble up the step ladder, or pull themselves up the rope ladder, your kids will feel like they reached the highest peaks of this play set. You don’t need an off-road vehicle to feel like you’re cruising along the Rockies — the open wooden plank structure of the upper outdoor playhouse, along with its bright green tarp roof, telescope and steering wheel, transport every imagination to a mountain range oasis. Taking a quick slide back down from the summit, you’ll store your nature souvenirs in the toy storage box and then finish your adventure on the belt swings or swing trapeze bar.
“Great product and easy to build. This is a great kit. There was one image backwards on the instructions and one board was mislabeled on the instructions for placement. The hardest part about this kit was separating all the parts and arranging them in a useable order. The construction seems odd at times as you will “jump” around building pieces unlike most construction from the ground up. Just be patient and look at the instructions and ensure images are correct. Took about 8 hours to put together just because it’s such a large puzzle and sometimes you switch bolt and screw packets. Make sure your ground is level and square as possible before putting together. We laid a tarp out to get an idea of where we wanted ours in our yard and how we wanted it oriented. They also have where you can use an image of the swing set and place it where you want in the camera/photo of the area. We also used some landscape timbers and rubber mulch for the inside areas of the set and it took over 50bags! A few tools are needed and another person is needed when ready to start to put it all together but only briefly. No missing parts or hardware and minimal tools required. They even provided most of the tools and bits for screws as well as a gauge for board separation. We added the toddler and baby swing as the kit only comes with normal swings.” – Cory Shelton (Source: Amazon)
“Kids love it! Assembly was not complicated. The BILT app was very helpful. A cordless drill is crucial. I decided to stain the wood parts with deck stain and sealer prior to assembly, which was very time consuming but worthwhile. Overall it took me probably 8 total hours aside from the staining. It was helpful to look forward several steps in the instructions to get all the pieces and hardware together bit by bit. I had no issue with split boards or misaligned holes that others noted. Quick tip: When putting in the T-nuts, pound them in with a hammer. It will help with getting the bolt threaded. It feels very sturdy with the exception of the legs for the swing set. I’ll probably add a stabilizing piece and set the anchors in concrete. The kids love it and have been playing on it nonstop since I put it together. Doesn’t take up too much space on the yard. Overall I’m very pleased with the purchase!” – Kevin (Source: Amazon)
“Amazing Company! Honestly never had a company this great to work with. We laid out a huge tarp and organized all the boards. One board had a big split so we called the company and a new board arrived in less than 24 hours!! Following assembly was easy. Took 2 of us just under 8 hours not including a break for lunch (and me honestly not doing a lot). This is also with toddler “helping”. While he picked one kid up from school I organized hardware pieces by steps I put it in little plastic cups and numbered them. After that we breezed thru the remainder. Looks great, feel solid, and kids love it. Our yard was not super level but we figured out where we needed to level exactly while building it and did it as we went. Only real problem is now the three year old refuses to go inside for a nap!! I do plan to seal the wood at some point but right now it’s beautiful.” – Sojillish (Source: Amazon)
“Decent swing set. I read SO many reviews on different sets/brands before deciding on this set. Being grandparents, it was fairly affordable.I was absolutely shocked when this was delivered in only two fairly flat, rectangular boxes in back of an SUV. I can’t believe all that stuff fit in two flat boxes. My son and husband assembled it over a few days. Some of the boards were drilled wrong, and 3 small wood pieces were missing.I wish the slide was in one piece, as I worry how it will hold up. The actual “slide” is a piece of thick plastic. All in all our toddler grandchild loves it. We did purchase a Little Tikes baby swing to replace the handle bars.” – Ann (Source: Amazon)
“Small but worth it. I bought this playset for my two year old twins. Perfect size and they will definitely have fun and grow into it for many years to come. If you’re hesitant about purchasing it, let this be the review that persuades you.” – Danielle Loihle (Source: Amazon)
“Great swing set. I was researching swing sets for several months and finally decided on this one. It was the most reasonably priced that offered a good size and offer more climbing options for my 4 years old. It took myself and my husband 8 hours to put together. We organized the parts and that helped a lot. Overall we are very happy with the swing set.” – Jennifer (Source: Amazon)
“Labor Intensive! Pros: The smiles on our children’s faces as they play is absolutely priceless! The family time spent working together to construct the set was awesome! We added the baby swing and the saucer for various age groups of our children. We laid out all of the materials as instructed before we started and only one piece was missing but we were able to drill the correct holes for it to work. All parts were labeled. The youtube video of building this swing set was helpful.Cons: The delivery company CEVA was late delivering the package and gave an all day delivery window of 8am-8pm, time wasted waiting. The packaged was damaged upon arrival and the driver had no idea how it happened. The estimated time of 8 hours was doubled for us (honestly not sure how we could have worked faster than we did); and that was with 3 adults and engineering experience. If possible have at least two battery operated drills. Many of the predrilled holes did not line up so we had to drill lots of holes. Some of the directions were not as clear.Overall very happy with the outcome, looking forward to our children enjoying this for years to come!” – cjsm nc (Source: Amazon)
“Kids love this. And it is safe. This play set has become a neighborhood attraction for the kids. Hours playing on it.The only negative was the wheel installation was not secure enough. We added a bolt to keep it on.” – Dave Clement (Source: Amazon)
“Overall great playset. I plan to update this review after some time of use but this is my initial impression review. This playset is great overall! It took my husband and I 8 hours to put together. My husband is very handy and he had all the suggested tools prior to installation. It was a crazy hot day so we took breaks as well. I got the next step pieces and hardware ready while my husband assembled for a smooth assembly process. We took inventory before assembling and we had every piece plus lots of extra hardware. Nothing came damaged or warped, except for two pieces that were slightly split at predrilled holes, that split a little more during assembly. I plan to contact the company to have those pieces on hand in case they continue to split. The pieces are very sturdy, good quality. I don’t forsee this playset deteriorating any time soon.We had no issues with install, very smooth process, easy to understand instructions. My kids are delighted!! I have 6 year old twins. This set is a great size, they should be able to enjoy this for a few years.I’m impressed with the slide as well. While the side rails, the green part, get too hot to touch, the slide itself, the yellow part, is just fine to slide down on hot days, which surprised me.If I had a negative it would be that I wish the price was a bit less. But this is a good quality, sturdy playset so I’m hoping it’s worth the investment in the long haul.” – TwinMom (Source: Amazon)
“Great Value and Fun. Well I received this item yesterday and started the build around 4pm. I finished tonight and completed the build without any major complications. It took me about 8 hours to build by myself. It seems to be pretty sturdy and my 6yo son is loving it already. The only concern I have is the slide. I want to see how it holds up over time. It’s a 3 piece slide and the yellow part is basically Plexi glass. So we’ll see, but so far so good. I think this swing set is a great value. You get a lot for what you pay, and setup is pretty simple.” – Doug23 (Source: Amazon)
“Better than expected. This was really easy to put together and good quality. It took us about the estimated time to install close to 8 hours. It helps to organize all the parts first before installing everything. I would do it again. The kids love it.” – Bullfrog987 (Source: Amazon)
“Great value and quality. We LOVE it! My husband assembled it completely by himself over 2 days – probably a total of about 17 hours work. He spent a lot of time on the first day laying out and labeling all the parts to inventory them. It’s a great, pretty swing set for the price. Very sturdy – doesn’t wobble at all. It looks so sturdy that I tried to climb on it but it made alarming creaky noises, so I guess it’s really not for adults! But my 2.5 year old loves it and I know we’ll get years of use out of it!” – E.R.K. (Source: Amazon)
“High quality and great value swing set! My 4 year old son absolutely loves this!Assembly was simple and very straightforward. The lumber and hardware were higher quality than I expected. Everything fit together easily. Total assembly by myself was probably 10 hours over a couple of days.Once it is put together it is sturdy and has held up well the first couple of months it has been up.” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)
“Fantastic upgrade, super cool playset! We needed a new playset, as you can see. Bought this one on amazon prime day, couldn’t beat the price ! Anyways, I’ll get to the point… I can’t speak on durability but it is very sturdy! Instal was fairly easily, I wish some instructions were more understandable but with knowledge, you can do it. about 98% of the wood is predrilled which is super helpful, just take your time!! Girlfriend and I set it up, took around 6 hours, she was good for organizing, handing me the hardware, telling me what goes where, I mainly did the handy work. It’s great to have help but I’m sure one can manage it alone ! It’ll just take longer, we’re excited and I know the kids will be too !” – Cathy (Source: Amazon)
