“Honest review #2. Again, I like the fire pit size since it is big enough for everyone to gather round but light enough to move around easily. Someone had mentioned rust. I didn’t see any, but there is a brushed on coppery gold paint that is not what we expected, but makes it look a little “vintage”. Not bad, just be ware it is not straight black if that is what you are expecting. If you are worried about the weather, get a cover for it like we did. It’s not thick metal, so a cover would be a wise investment. This replacement has no broken welds or paint scratches but the grill is still a bit askew. The last photo, I stacked the old grill from the original purchase on top of the new one for reference of the tilt. Seems like a manufacturing issue. Overall, for the price, it seems decent.” – Dad of three (Source: Amazon)

“Easy to assemble. I currently have long nails and had no problem putting it together” – Adriana Martinez (Source: Amazon)

“Good quality, easy assembly. This was packaged well and not too heavy. It was easy to assemble. I like that the bars on the outside make it appear bigger than it is, but the actual pit is still small which is what I prefer. The scuffed paint detail is a nice touch and makes it appear more worn in and used. I decided to leave the grilling pieces off but looks like it can easily be added later… nice to have as an option. Very happy with this purchase and looking forward to using it this summer.” – Erica Christensen (Source: Amazon)

“Not bad for the price, but could be better! First the pros: This was super easy to put together., The price was reasonable, albeit I did purchase it when it was on sale. The grill is food safe and doesn’t need to be covered with aluminum foil like many other suppliers. The size is perfect for backyard use. It is lightweight enough to easily move around and store. The ember screen is a plus! The dual use of firepit and wood/charcoal grill has really added to the value, and we use it all the time. We have stored this grill outside uncovered and have not had any issues, so far, with rust. It looks like we will get at least a year of use, if not more. Now the cons: Because it is lightweight if you need to swing the grill out to tend to the fire, it can get a little unstable if you’re grilling something heavy or have a full tray of food. Our fix is to add a stone to the pit on the opposite side, we may even weld a counterweight opposite of the up rod as a permanent solution. However, this is a design flaw they could easily fix. If the up rod had been placed adjacent to one of the feet, this would not be a problem. It is, however, placed offset to one of the feet giving no additional support when the grill/food weight in transferred from over the fire to the outside of the pit.The grill will also walk a little (creep an inch or two) if placed on concrete when it begins to heat up. This is due to the metal being thin and normal expansion/contraction. Once it reaches a high temp, this creeping/walking stops. This hasn’t been a safety problem but did freak me out the first time I used it.Overall we are satisfied with our purchase.” – Amazon Customer (Source: Amazon)
