“The New Cat Condo. You will need two people. The wood is not thick, and you run the chance of cracking a beam trying to lift it alone.Since the wood is not thick. I bought additional braces for some areas. It wobbled more than I was comfortable with.The instructions were a bit confusing, but we got through it without a divorce (it was touch and go for a minute there). We are no Chip and Joanna, but it definitely took more than an hour! More like three!After it was put together I raised it up on cement blocks to protect if from the water on the ground. I sprayed the new condo with a waterproof seal. I could feel how the wood would get chewed up from the elements. “Well. It’s Up! Well, it’s finally up. I severely underestimated my abilities as a single independent woman as this took THREE GROWN MEN to build. Three. It’s up, it’s great, it’s BIG. I have one very other animal anti-social cat. LOVES people, hates others of her kind. Just like her mom.I’ve yet to put said cat in it, and it’s her decision if all that work “works” for her.
